ADRIAN, Mich. – DIIIHockeyNews and USCHO released their Week 6 national polls on Monday afternoon, with the Adrian College NCAA men's hockey team climbing back to No. 2 in the country for the second time this season. The Bulldogs enter the week with an 8-2-0 overall record.
Adrian is coming off a strong weekend sweep of MSOE, a team that entered the series receiving votes in both national polls. The Bulldogs posted 5-2 and 6-3 victories to improve to 6-2-0 in NCHA play. With the sweep, Adrian now holds 19 points in the conference standings, sitting in a first-place tie with St. Norbert.
St. Norbert follows the Bulldogs at No. 3 in both national polls, with Aurora ranked No. 4 and Trine University appearing at No. 12.
The Bulldogs return to action December 12–13 when they host Hiram College for a non-conference series. Friday's game is scheduled for a 7:00 PM puck drop.
