The Bulldogs improved to 22-5-0 overall after a strong opening weekend of postseason play.
Adrian advanced in the conference tournament by sweeping Trine in the first round of the playoffs this past weekend. The Bulldogs controlled the series from start to finish, combining timely scoring with disciplined defensive efforts to punch their ticket to the next round. The pair of wins added to an already impressive season total and reinforced Adrian's place among the top teams in the country.
The national rankings remain competitive at the top, with UW-River Falls holding the No. 1 position, followed by Augsburg and Norwich. Within the NCHA, Concordia (Wis.) remains ranked at No. 12, highlighting the depth of the conference heading deeper into postseason play.
The Bulldogs currently rank No. 15 in the NPI Rankings which is used to determine seeding and at-large bids for the NCAA Tournament.
With momentum on their side and postseason success already underway, the Bulldogs now turn their attention to the next round of the conference tournament. Adrian will look to carry its strong defensive play and balanced offensive attack forward as it continues its pursuit of a championship and a potential NCAA berth.
