Box Score OLIVET, Mich.--Host Olivet College jumped out to a 6-1 lead after the first quarter and held Adrian College scoreless in the second half en route to an 18-3 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's lacrosse victory on Saturday.

= Nino Minaudo led all scorers with eight points on four goals and four assists.
= Tyler Polendo (1 assist) and Logan Krieger also scored four times.
= Hunter Teare had a game-best 10 ground balls and won 18 of 24 face-offs.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= The teams traded goals in the opening 4 minutes and 36 seconds. Jack Ranson's unassisted tally 69 seconds in gave Olivet a 1-0 lead, but Boyd answered on a feed from Turner at the 11:24 mark.
= But Olivet scored six unanswered goals to take a commanding 7-1 advantage early in the second stanza.
= The Comets held the Bulldogs to 18 shots on goal.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
= Adrian senior goalkeeper Brett Farrelly was back in the cage, making eight stops. His 147 saves on the season are sixth on the Bulldogs' all-time chart, 21 shy of Kevin Lerg's school record (168 in 2012) and second in the conference.
= The Bulldogs still lead the Comets in the all-time series, 4-1.
