HOW IT HAPPENED
= Adrian jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back. The Bulldogs led 2-0 after the first quarter and 6-0 by halftime.

= The Bulldogs' lead ballooned to 9-0 by the 11-minute, 54-second mark left in the third quarter on goals from French, Gasche and sophomore Travis Fox (3 goals).

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
= Despite the game being contested at a neutral site, it was moved from Kapnick Field at Docking Stadium to accommodate locker room space for the NCAA Division III Men's Wrestling Central Region Championships hosted by the Bulldogs during the weekend. As a result, the NCAA officially recognizes this as a home event.

= Adrian avenges last year's 14-8 loss at Hiram to tie the all-time series with one win apiece.

= Leventis' 17-for-19 performance for 89.5 percent in the "X" ranks third in Adrian single-game history. He now has 270 face-off wins in his career to rank No. 2 all-time, passing former Bulldogs Zach Kozlowsk (254, 2013-14) and Ryan Werhane (248, 2009-11).

UP NEXT
= Adrian's non-conference slate continues on Wednesday at Concordia-Chicago.
